When it comes to pop stars and Christmas songs, they don't come bigger (or arguably, better) than Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas'.

The pop diva continues to make megabucks off the back of her 1994 hit every year - but that hasn't stopped her recording a new one.

Earlier in the year, Carey teased a collaboration for her forthcoming Christmas special by sharing directors chairs from the set, initialled with 'MC', 'AG' and 'JH'.

Fans giddily speculated that she would be joined by Jennifer Hudson and Ariana Grande on the special - and now she's confirmed as much, posting a picture of the trio.

Their song 'Oh Santa!' - originally released on Carey's second Christmas album 'Merry Christmas II You' in 2010,  is expected to be released tomorrow. The special - the trailer of which dropped yesterday - lands on Apple TV+ on December 11th.

Other guests on the special include Tiffany Haddish, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri and Misty Copeland, while her twins Moroccan and Monroe are also due to make an appearance.

The reaction to the news of the trio's duet was met with huge excitement: even Oprah herself said: "Clear a shelf for the Grammys!!!", while another fan declared it the "MOST ICONIC CROSSOVER IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC".
