'The Rarities' includes a previously-unreleased duet with Lauryn Hill
It's going to be a busy autumn for Mariah Carey.
The pop diva is releasing her tell-all memoir 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey' at the end of September, and now she's also announced a new album.
As its title suggests, 'The Rarities' is not a studio album but a collection of rare and previously-unheard songs from her back catalogue.
One of them is a duet with none other than Lauryn Hill called 'Save the Day', while a bonus album will include a live recording of a gig in Tokyo.
She made the announcement on Instagram, saying "This one is for you, my fans. It's to celebrate us, and to thank you for ? years of pure love and support. I am so grateful to you."
Her last studio album was 2018's 'Caution' but this album is out on October 2nd.
