Cavan native Aine's song 'Dislocated' soundtracked Michael and Francesca's exit
If you happened to be watching the dramatic scenes on 'Love Island' the other night involving Michael and Francesca, you may have had your ears prick up at a certain song.
The tune, 'Dislocated', soundtracked the montage of the duo saying their goodbyes and leaving the villa.
What you may not have known is that it is by a little-known Irish artist who is steadily making a name for herself.
25-year-old Cavan native Aine (previously known by her full name, Aine Cahill) has already had a minor hit in 'Black Dahlia', first released in 2015. Since then, she has played some big gigs including a slot on the BBC's Glastonbury coverage in 2016.
Her rebranding coincides with a new record deal with Parlophone, and her new EP 'Dislocated' will be released on August 30th.
