He has also launched a mental health scheme for fans at his gigs

He may seem like he's taking it all in his stride and having a good laugh along the way - but it appears that even Lewis Capaldi gets extremely nervous at times.

In an interview with The Independent, he said he was suffering during his red carpet interview with Sharon Osbourne. “I was having a panic attack the entire time,” he said. He added that he could only relax at the long ceremony once Billie Eilish had beaten him to Song of the Year with 'Bad Guy'. “I knew I wouldn’t have to say anything to anybody," he said, "and then it was OK."

The 23-year-old is currently on his first headline tour and plays the second of two sold-out nights in Dublin tonight. He has recently launched a new 'Livelive' mental health campaign at the gigs, which include a 'Livelive Zone' for fans who experience panic attacks and social anxiety at his gigs. It offers fans a quiet space to take a breather, or speak to trained medical and mental health professionals if they need to.
