She's been hanging out with Tom Cruise, too
Whether it turns out to be amazing or a complete dud, the new 'Top Gun: Maverick' film is undoubtedly set to be one of the biggest films of the summer.
So it's only right, then, that one of the biggest pop stars on the planet contributes to the soundtrack.
Lady Gaga has shared the full version of epic '80s-tinged ballad 'Hold My Hand' after teasing fans with a 10-second preview yesterday.
The song was co-written and co-produced with BloodPop, who has also worked with Irish star Lyra in recent years.
Previewing the song before its release, she took to Instagram to tell fans what it was about.
"I wanted to say that I wrote the song for the INCREDIBLE movie #topgun#topgunmaverick but also for people who feel like they’re not gonna be ok or WE ARE never gonna be ok and that life taught me through hard times to have faith in humanity when it’s hard to have faith in yourself," she wrote.
"When you feel lonely, sad, removed from the world, far away from yourself and others #holdmyhand One day you may even be strong enough to hold your own ?. I love you with my whole heart for all the years I’ve been blessed to sing, write songs, produce and perform for you. Thank you ? here we go!!!"
She also shared a photo of herself hanging out with the film's star Tom Cruise last night after he attended her 'Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano' show in Las Vegas.
