It's the first track to be taken from her forthcoming album '11 Past the Hour'
Imelda May has collaborated with some huge names over the last decade or so, from Jeff Goldblum to Smokey Robinson and Lou Reed.
However, few of them have been as unexpected as Noel Gallagher.
The former Oasis man - who is apparently a 'close friend' of May's - duets with the Dubliner on her new track 'Just One Kiss', while Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood also features on guitar. The collaboration with Gallagher came about after an 'idle texting exchange', according to the press release.
The song is the first to be taken from May's forthcoming album '11 Past the Hour', which is released on April 23rd. Her sixth album is "a record that brims with sensuality, emotional intelligence, spirituality and intuition, marking a new chapter for Imelda and showcasing her at her most authentic. With pals and collaborators like Wood, Gallagher and Miles Kane, and with inspired contributions from feminist thinkers and activists such as Gina Martin and Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, the album is an invigorating blast of rock’n’roll, with a purpose."
The video for 'Just One Kiss', meanwhile, features her real-life beau, Irish musician Niall McNamee - as well as a very sweet cameo from her parents in the very last frame.
