Just a slight bit of brotherly taunting from Liam

Liam Gallagher has poked sleeping brother Noel Gallagher with a very long stick via Twitter.

We don't need to explain to you the ins and outs of the Gallagher brothers tumultuous relationship, so let's dive right into their latest beef.

Liam has tweeted a quote from brother Noel, that he gave in an NME interview in 2012. Liam quoted his brother, saying "‘Not even if the starving children in the world needed it!"

Although he seems to have gotten the year wrong, it's clear that Liam wants to add some more fuel to the Gallagher brothers' well-tended fire.

When asked by a fan, "aren't you tired of this yet?" Liam made a very witty remark (although we don't know if Noel will find it that witty).

In the interview in question, Noel was asked whether there are any chance of an Oasis reunion on the cards - and that was his response. He also went on to say, "I know it’s the done thing these days and what people do, but it’s not what I do.

"I know bands reform and ‘They’re bigger than they ever were’ and ‘They’re more successful than they ever were’, but Oasis were one of the biggest bands in the world."

Poor Liam has been trying for quite some time now to get Oasis back together, but Noel is not budging. He's busy with his new band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, who will be heading to Ireland next June to play Malahide Castle.

Back in July, Liam tweeted to his brother, saying "Earth to Noel listen up kid I hear your doing gigs where people can't drink alcohol now that's the BeZarist thing you've done yet I forgive you now let's get the BIG O back together and stop fucking about the drinks are on me."

2018 has been the year that rumours of an Oasis reunion for Slane 2020 has been on the cards. However, considering that the Gallagher brothers can't seem to reconcile, it looks like a job for 2019 to take care of.
