Tom Hardy returns as Venom
There are plenty of movie releases on the way that are made for the big screen.
The sequel to 'Venom' is one such movie.
With cinemas in Ireland set to open in June, audiences won't have to wait too long until 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' makes its September release.
The movie sees Tom Hardy return to the role as our titular anti-hero, aka Eddie Brock.
He's joined by Michelle Williams, who returns from the 2018 'Venom' movie as Brock's ex-fiancée Anne.
Woody Harrelson, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham and Naomie Harris co-star.
Andy Serkis directs and Kelly Marcel penned the script.
From the looks of things, Eddie is getting along better than ever with his alien symbiote.
We're looking forward to see Harrelson take on the bad guy role of Cletus Kasady, also known as Carnage.
'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' was one of many movies with a release impacted by the pandemic, having originally been set to hit cinemas last October.
Now it swings into theatres on September 15th.
2018's 'Venom' was a surprise hit, grossing $856.1 million, in spite of generally negative reviews.
Oscar nominee Riz Ahmed played the antagonist in it, and Ruben Fleischer directed.
