We're not sure if he was supposed to say that...
Russell Crowe is just the latest big name to join the cast of 'Thor: Love and Thunder'.
Russell Crowe joins Chris Hemsworth, who's back as the God of Thunder, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif.
Also starring are Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, Sam Neill, Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Taika Waititi (who's also directing) and Jeff Goldblum.
So yeah, this cast is YUUGE.
Previously, the role Russell Crowe would be playing was being kept under wraps, along with plot details of the sequel.
Now word come from the horse's mouth - Crowe himself - as to the character he'll be playing.
Previously, fan theories reckoned he'd be playing the Greek god Zeus.
Looks out those Marvel fans have guessed correctly, yet again.
Speaking on JOY Breakfast with The Murphys, the actor said: "I'm going to get on my bicycle and ride up to Disney-Fox studios, and around 9.15, I shall be Zeus."
He also noted he'll be finished on the movie soon, saying: "It's for Thor. It's my last day of Zeus-ing about and I'm going to enjoy it."
Given how tight lipped Marvel usually are about their projects, we're not sure if he was meant to say that...
This won't of course be the first superhero rodeo for Russell Crowe.
He previously starred in Superman outing 'Man of Steel', playing Jor-El.
'Thor: Love and Thunder' has a release date of May 6, 2022.
