He'll be recommencing production on his latest blockbuster, 'The Last Duel'
Matt Damon is set to return to Ireland within the next month, according to reports.
The Hollywood legend sent the country ecstatic when he stayed in Dalkey earlier this year.
He's coming back to resume filming on the Ridley Scott feature 'The Last Duel'.
The movie also stars Ben Affleck, Adam Driver and Jodie Comer.
The Irish Mail on Sunday reports that originally, the intention was for the cast and crew to stay in Kildare's The K Club.
However, now that the county is on lockdown, they will have to review their plans.
A source told the publication: "It’s just really bad luck and it’s not simply a question of booking another hotel because we’re talking about a lot of rooms and a lot of space needed.
"That could be very hard to find."
Meanwhile, The Goss reports that the cast and crew may be staying at the Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow instead.
Their source said: "Nothing is actually booked yet.
"They are chopping and changing plans based on government guidelines."
Reportedly, Matt Damon will not be staying in the same hotel as his fellow cast members and the crew.
Instead, he'll be staying in a private home. However, it won't be the same Dalkey accommodation he resided in before.
