"I'm loving it here"
The Hollywood star is quickly becoming one of our favourite actors to grace our soil in recent memory.
Florence Pugh, the star of Marvel's 'Black Widow' and that hate it or love it thriller 'Midsommar', is continuing to show us what she's been getting up to on her working holiday in Ireland.
In the middle of filming her latest movie 'The Wonder', Florence took an afternoon off to upload a 'Cooking with Flo' segment on her Instagram page. While making stuffed peppers, the Oscar-nominated actor briefly mentioned her time spent thus far in the country.
Full of nothing but good words, she said: "I can’t tell you how gorgeous everyone is, every single person I interact with is lovely and so helpful. Everyone is so kind and ready to just have a good time with you. So, thank you Ireland for being so generous and welcoming."
You can watch the full cooking demonstration over on her Instagram page under her Story Highlights section.
All in all, the actor seems to be thoroughly enjoying her time on the island. On Friday she uploaded a picture of herself holding a creamy pint of Guinness before it settled, captioning the photo that she looks like Gollum from 'The Lord of the Rings', holding a precious pint of the black stuff.
In the post, she tagged Jack Reynor and model and photographer Madeline Mulqueen, thanking them both for the "DELICIOUS GUINNESS".
'The Wonder' is a Netflix adaptation of Irish author Emma Donoghue’s acclaimed novel of the same name. Set in the midlands post-famine in 1862, the psychological thriller will see Florence Pugh play English nurse Lib Wright, who journeys to a small village in Ireland to observe the strange occurrence of young girl who has stopped eating but remains healthy.
The movie also stars Tom Burke, Niamh Algar, Ciarán Hinds and Elaine Cassidy and will release on Netflix in 2022.
