Think 'Sherlock Holmes', but he can talk to animals instead of Jude Law.
Now that Robert Downey Jr. has parted ways with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his first role out of the Iron Man armour appears to be somewhat familiar.
Taking in the same kind of bravado as 'Sherlock Holmes' (as well as the same accent), 'Dolittle' takes a big-budget, CGI-heavy hammer to the famous novels written by Hugh Lofting with a star-studded cast to throw on top of it.
You've got Emma Thompson, Selena Gomez, Ralph Fiennes, Marion Cotillard, Rami Malek, Tom Holland, John Cena, Kumail Nanjiani, Carmen Ejogo, Craig Robinson and Octavia Spencer voicing some of the animals - and that's not even counting the live-action cast. Antonio Banderas plays the villain Rassouli, Michael Sheen plays a character called Mudfly, Jim Broadbent is in there as is our own Jessie Buckley playing Queen Victoria, and there's newcomer Harry Collett as well.
Corralling all of this on screen is Stephen Gaghan, who's best known for writing and directing 'Syriana', the gritty political thriller with George Clooney that was based on a CIA operative's exposé of the machinations and influence of oil in politics.
The movie is a long time coming, as it was first announced over two years ago, and was originally slated for April of this year before it was pushed first to December of this year, but then ultimately bumped out to 2020 so that it wouldn't have to compete with 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker'.
So, will it be as successful as 'Avengers: Endgame' for Robert Downey Jr. and his career? Here's the trailer, anyway. As mentioned, the movie arrives in Irish cinemas on February 7th.
