We know that Brad Pitt once had a job which involved him wearing a chicken suit to promote a local fast-food joint when he was but a struggling actor in Los Angeles.

This, we think, is long delayed vengeance on his part. Maybe not. Pitt's production shingle, Plan B, is currently involved with a film currently shooting in Larne, Co. Antrim. The Lost City Of Z, which stars Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller and Tom Holland, is based on the explorer Col. Percy Fawcett's journey into the Amazon to discover a new civilisation.

However, local newspaper Larne Times says that Pitt's film is scaring local chickens. James McKinnon, a farmer in the locality, says that his chickens were squawking and his dogs barking when explosions went off nearby for the production. The status of his cats or, indeed, his cows remains unknown.

As McKinnon says, nobody in the locality was notified that there'd be explosions or filming taking place. "There wasn’t a single notification about this, which would have been common courtesy,” McKillion explained. “I support companies filming here, but they need to keep local people in the loop. If we had a schedule, we could put the animals into barns. At the minute, we are on tenterhooks."

There's been no update or comment from Plan B or the production, but we do know that the film is scheduled for sometime in 2016. It's also understood that filming is also taking place in Belfast, possibly in Titanic Studios, where Game of Thrones is currently shooting.

Remember, folks - it's not a chicken movie title competition until you say it is. The Hen For Red October. There, that's one.
