Actress Blake Lively is back in Dublin to shoot more scenes for her latest film ‘The Rhythm Section.’

There has been shooting for the film in New York, Spain and Dublin, but production was halted in the latter city (which is doubling as London for the movie) when Lively suffered an on-set hand injury.

It is unclear how long Lively will be filming in Dublin though according to reports, the movie was about halfway finished shooting when the injury occurred during a stunt scene in January.

With an original release date of February 22nd, 2019, it's now unclear if the film will make that release date.

Lively underwent a transformation for the role, first cutting her signature blonde hair short and then dying it black as the role requires her character to go undercover.

In the film, she plays a woman seeking revenge against those who orchestrated a plane crash that killed her family. The film is based on a novel by Mark Burnell.

It is directed by Reed Morano (‘The Handmaid’s Tale’) and Jude Law co-stars.

Lively was seen - and photographed - filming outside the hotel The Cliff on Stephen's Green last weekend.

Lively isn’t the only A-list celeb to visit our shores of late, as actress Katie Holmes was spotted touring the country earlier this month.
