Actress Katie Holmes has been spotted in sites all over Ireland this week because who doesn’t love our Emerald Isle really?
The ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and ‘Batman Begins’ star reportedly decided to leave the hullabaloo of Fashion Week, which she had been attending with her daughter Suri, to jet off into the country.
Holmes visited both the markets of Monkstown, Dublin, and surroundings of Carlow, and was spotted with a friend at the Avoca food market in Monkstown on Tuesday afternoon before enjoying the sunny weather at Borris House in Co. Carlow.
Holmes also checked out the sights Kilkenny City had to offer during the week, including a visit to Kilkenny Castle. According to Kilkenny People, she walked into the National Design and Craft Gallery in the Castle Yard on Tuesday afternoon, and had a minder/driver a discreet distance away. She was given a tour and impressed with watch she saw.
From there, she walked down The Parade with Suri, and her friend, local man Brendan Morrissey. Many people were taken by surprise to see her in the city.
Holmes was also seen having lunch in a local eatery, while some fans reported seeing her in Nicholas Mosses' pottery in Bennettsbridge.
The actress is currently dating Jamie Foxx, though the two are notoriously discreet about their relationship (just check out this interview with Foxx when asked about Holmes).
She reunited with her fellow 'Dawson's Creek' cast members earlier in the year and it was magical. The show turns 20 years old this year.
