The second sequel to the 2002 film will be directed by Danny Boyle
It seems that the ball is moving pretty quickly on the long-awaited zombie sequel '28 Years Later'.
Just a few months after it was confirmed that the film was going ahead, with the original team of Danny Boyle in the director's chair and Alex Garland on writing duties, the first names of the cast have been revealed.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson - who has been strongly rumoured, but strangely not yet confirmed as the new James Bond - will star in the sequel, alongside 'Killing Eve' star Jodie Comer, and veteran Ralph Fiennes.
There is no word yet, however, on whether Cillian Murphy will also be involved in some capacity.
Details of the film's plot remain vague, but the new film will be the first in a trilogy that will see Nia DaCosta ('Candyman') direct the second film, which will reportedly be shot back-to-back with '28 Years Later'.
