DIFF 2026 opens with the World Premiere of David Gleeson's Once Upon A Time In A Cinema, (filmed in Limerick) described as an Irish counterpart to Cinema Paradiso and closes with John Carney's feel-good musical Power Ballad, starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas.
In between, audiences can expect everything from international competition titles and classic cinema strands to a record-breaking slate of Irish features and documentaries.
To celebrate, we're giving away:
- A pair of tickets to Opening Night Gala (19 February)
- A pair of tickets to Closing Night Gala (1 March); For the first time ever, the festival will close at Dublin's iconic Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
We also have festival tickets for runners-up to give away.
Who's coming to DIFF 2026?
Headlining this year's line-up are Paul Rudd, Colin Farrell, Bill Nighy, Maisie Williams and Alice Krige, with further guests including Chris Colfer, Nick Jonas, Ciarán Hinds, Dominic Cooper, Sarah Bolger, Katie McGrath, Clare Dunne, Aidan Gillen and Éanna Hardwicke.
