EastEnders is known for its hard hitting dramatic storylines, particularly in the run up to Christmas, but one of its more recent subplots has drawn ridicule from a lot of its fans.
We are of course talking about - the bins.
In a bid to incorporate a degree of social realism into the show, the writers have replicated the recent recycling changes in London by having Walford residents left fuming with the news that the bin collections would now take place fortnightly instead of once a week.
No seriously, this is has been a recurring subplot for months now. One good humoured EastEnders fans decided to have a bit of fun by editing together a dramatic Christmas themed promo centred entirely around the bins and it's just brilliant.
We're sure the drama with the bins will come to a head on Christmas Day.
