Dwayne Johnson is swapping the big screen for the small screen in a new HBO project called Ballers, and judging by this trailer it looks pretty intriguing.
Johnson plays Spencer Strassmore, football player turned agent who guarantees his players have the sweet life. Hired for his connections in the locker room, the show will clearly cover the glitzy, glamorous side of being a professional athlete, and looks to be packed with fast cars, private yachts and parties in nightclubs with lots of champagne.
This being HBO, there's more to the story than that though, which is hinted at in this new trailer as they show a few of Johnson's players going a little bit off the rails, not to mention him dealing with his own struggles too.
The show's budget for finely tailored suits big enough to fit The Rock must have been off the charts.
