The first teaser trailer for the first new Star Trek TV series in over a decade has finally arrived.
While not showcasing any actual footage from the show, the teaser is more of a promise that the show will be showcasing “new adventure, new crews, new villains, new heroes”.
Whether that means we can rule out it being set in within the same era as the current movie series is not certain but it seems we can rule out a crossover of any description.
The new series will be debuting in the US in 2017 and it will most likely be available on our shores soon after.
