The Graham Norton Show
BBC1: 10:35pm

Decent enough lineup on Graham's couch tonight, but your eyes won't be blinded by the A-listers we're afraid, with the exception of Oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan who stars in the new film of Far from the Madding Crowd. Joining herself will be Swedish star Noomi Rapace, who will be discussing new thriller Child 44, and Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden. While music will be provided by Jessie Ware performing Say You Love Me.

SATURDAY

Match of the Day Live FA Cup: Reading v Arsenal
BBC One: 5.05pm

Arsenal may look back on this season with the terrible feeling of 'what if...?'. They have hit an incredible run of form and finally gotten the monkey off their back when ti comes to winning big games, and if they had turned a few draws into wins earlier on, they could really be making a charge at Chelsea who seem to be slowing down a bit as they grind their way towards the title. This weekend however, Wenger's in form team take on Reading at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals, and they will surely be hot favourites for the win. Reading have not won a game since they beat Bradford in the last round of this competition, and Arsenal have been on a seemingly unstoppable run as they've mercilessly done away with every opponent that comes before them. They're also defending their FA Cup crown, and the smart money would be on the side from North London meeting one of Liverpool or Aston Villa in the final.

Ninja Warrior
UTV Ireland: 7.00pm

Fans of Gladiators back in the day will enjoy this Saturday night show, which sees contenders from across Britain test their strength, speed and courage in the second heat of the obstacle-course challenge. Those who make it to the end of the adrenaline-fuelled mission face one final task - scaling the heights of a tower named Mount Midoriyama. You'd miss the gladiators though all the same, wouldn't you?

Jane Eyre
BBC2: 8.30pm

Emily Bronte's Jane Eyre has been adapted to the small and the big screen many times at this stage, but this is the one with Michael Fassbender as Mr Rochester, so this is the one we should watch. For those that haven't read the book or seen it before, it tells the story of a young girl called Jane Eyre who is raised by her cruel aunt and grows up to become a governess. She is then sent to the estate of a mysterious Yorkshire landowner (enter a brooding Fassbender) and despite all the strange goings-on in the house, she ends up falling in love with him. However, as the case with so many of these literary classics, the path of true love certainly does not run smoothly.

SUNDAY

Live European Champions Cup: Toulon v Leinster
Sky Sports 2: 2.30

Criticism has been quick to come for Leinster this season, as they seem to be unable to hit the highs of previous years, but they have still made their way into the semi-finals of the European Champions Cup. It should come as no surprise that their brand of free-flowing rugby hasn't quite been on point this season however, as the squad is most certainly in a transitional period. They're still working to absorb the loss of what was probably one of the greatest players ever in Brian O'Driscoll, while the return of Johnny Sexton next season means that the the players who were slotted in at the no. 10 position this season have been acutely aware that they're simply keeping the shirt warm for the returning prodigal son. Gordon D'Arcy has also had a reduced role, and the loss of a leader such as Leo Cullen is bound to have an impact. All of that added together makes their achievements to date in the tournament all the more impressive, but this weekend may see them stumble and fall with the might of Toulon, in particular the fearsome figure of Mathieu Bastareaud, whose physicality will pose all sorts of problems to the Irish side. To win this game away from home, Leinster have to show the attacking incision and sense of adventure that they were known for in years gone by, but as many of the squad proved on the last day of the Six Nations with Ireland, they're are well capable of working under that kind of pressure.

Indian Summers
Channel 4: 9.00pm

Final episode of this Channel 4 series Sunday night where Ramu's fate is now left in Ralph's hands. Now he knows the truth behind the murder, will he let an innocent man hang? Meanwhile, a vote takes place at the club to lift the colour bar, and although Ronnie tells Cynthia it was on Willingdon's orders, she knows it's really an act of vengeance by Ralph following their recent argument. Elsewhere, Sarah is distraught as she prepares to say goodbye to India and her husband.

Hunters of the South Sea
BBC2: 9.00pm

This new three part series will explore the Coral Triangle in the western Pacific where indigenous communities have learned to thrive despite their isolation. Their main source of food is fish so some have become unbelievably talented in their fishermen trade with breathtaking skills in the water. We even meet one fella called Kabei who has not set foot on dry land for three years. Remarkably interesting stuff and well worth the watch.

Poldark
BBC1: 9.00pm

Poldark is well and truly bringing back sexy back to the BBC, and it's all thanks to Irish actor Aidan Turner who plays the lead in this popular new period drama. In tonight's episode, Ross is struggling to keep the smelting company afloat with not only his enemy outbidding him for vital copper at every turn, but also looking for ways of getting to his secret shareholders. Dammit, just back off George! While he also loses an ally in Francis as he wrongly blames Ross for helping Verity elope with Andrew Blamey. Oh dear, hard times for poor terribly sexy Poldark.
