Seems like Simon Cowell is just living on the edge these days. He recently came close to being injured as part of a knife throwing act on TV show Britain's Got Talent, and now he has almost choked on a mint during filming of the reality series.
According to Heatworld.com: Cowell, Walliams,and fellow judges Amanda Holden and Sinitta were in the middle of passing judgement on a contestant when the incident happened. Luckily though, his 'bessie' David Walliams was on hand to help, and performed the Heimlich manoeuvre on the music mogul.
A source also told The Sun: "As soon as David noticed Simon was in trouble he lept up from his chair. He put his all into giving him the Heimlich manoeuvre, but seemed to be enjoying it a little too much."
We'd imagine David hammed it up as much as possible, especially considering it was his precious Simon. All sounds like fun and games, but at the same time luckily he was there to step up. Imagine a world without Simon Cowell? Who would go around crushing everyone's dreams of stardom? Who would give Louis Walsh a career? WHO would set the bar on how high men were supposed to wear their trousers?!
It would have been a confusing, bewildering world we would find ourselves in, and all because of a mint.
