A second season of Big Little Lies, one of the year’s biggest shows so far, is looking increasingly likely.
Star of the HBO mini-series Reese Witherspoon has shared a picture from the show where she poses with her co-stars Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern (Shailene Woodley also stars).
But what has fans of the series even more excited is the caption underneath the picture.
It reads “Spending #SundayFunday with these ladies… working on some new lies,” with many interpreting the latter part as indicating there’ll be more episodes in the series.
Witherspoon also served as an executive producer on the widely popular show.
Previously, Australian author Liane Moriarty, whose book was the source material for the series, said that the producers have approached her about ideas for where the characters could go next (see the full report here).
Still other reports claim that Witherspoon, Kidman and Dern were together only for a photo shoot, not for anything to do with the second season. Watch this space.
