A few weeks ago TV3 announced they would be giving The Late Late Show's Toy Show a run for their money with their own version of it. Doubt Tubbers and the gang are quaking in their boots about it or anything, but it will be interesting to see how they do it. Alan Hughes gave it a bit of a go last year on the channel but this time round the show is going to be more, well, Toy Show like really.

There has been a question over who would present the whole shindig with a few names been thrown around. However, they have now officially announced who it will be, and you will never guess who it is, like NEVER. Joking - a three year old could have guessed these presenters. It's Brian McFadden and Karen Koster. They really didn't think too far outside the box with that one, did they?

Oh and we should probably mention, Jedward will be assisting them, well somebody needs to give the poor fellas a gig, don't they?

The 90-minute show will be live from the RDS on Friday 21st November from 8pm - 9.30pm. This will also mark the beginning of a nine day event that will run from 22nd-30th November, which we are assuming is some sort of toy bonanza. (!)

Brian and Karen are of course delighted with this gig, with the former Westlife star saying; "This is a really exciting opportunity for me. I’ve worked on a lot of great shows in the UK but it’s great to come home and host a show that I know will be a great production. When TV3 approached me I just thought the Christmas Toy Show was right up my alley and something I could bring a lot of energy to and have a lot of fun in the process. I’m really looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit – it’s going to be a fantastic show!"

In other words, "I have a successful career in the UK, did you hear me? I HAVE A SUCCESSFUL CAREER!"

Mum-to-be Karen added; "I am over the moon to be part of the Christmas Toy Show on TV3, in what is a really special year for me. I am actually due the baby around Christmas Day so this Christmas is extra special, and what better way to get all Christmassy than by hosting what is essentially 90 minutes of acting like you are 8-years-old all over again! I’m looking forward to seeing what all of our ‘toy testers’ and contributors will be showcasing on the night because they’re the ones that will bring the atmosphere to life at the RDS."

In other words; actually... we have no other words for Karen, that was pretty sweet.
