Looks like Ted might finally get his dream of making it in America after all. The show may feature in the Captain America sequel 'The Winter Soldier', but you need to be the one to make it happen! The Radio Times is currently running a poll to decide which one of ten British and Irish TV shows could appear in the new film.
Father Ted is in the running along with Mrs Brown's Boys too! We're rooting for Ted in this one though, sorry Mrs Brown. Other contenders are Sherlock, Fawlty Towers, Coronation Street and The X Factor.
A snippet from one will be used in a scene where Captain America has woke up from a 65 year 'ice-coma' (hate when that happens), and must catch up on what he has missed. And as we all know, you're nobody if you can't throw out at least one good Father Ted quote every now and then. How will his Avengers pals even take him seriously?!
The show is currently in third place with 14.3% of the vote, behind Sherlock and Doctor Who. We will leave it in your capable hands - you know what you have to do.
