After all that 'fracas' earlier in the year with Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear, it probably is about time we all moved on and started looking forward to the new season of the show which will see BBC radio presenter Chris Evans take the helm.

Evans has signed a three-year contract with the BBC to host two series' of the motoring show, and at last they have told us when we will see him in action - May 2016 on BBC2. So... yeah, a while away yet but you know, something to look forward to and all that.

Speaking to the Press Association, Evans hinted that they may not continue with the three-presenter format; "If there's three of you and you go and make a film together, suddenly you're doing what they did. Why would you do that? They were brilliant at it, [but] I'm not going to do that.

"They're the Three Stooges, they are the Bee Gees, they are that and I'm not, I'm me. I'm a solo artist at the moment, I'm on my own, so do I form a band or not?"

We agree, and sure he'll have The Stig there to have the craic with. You can't get a word in with that fella.
