If you're an Arrested Development fan you'd better get the diary out, and clear everything from your schedule for Sunday May 26th, because it's been confirmed as D-Day, or should we say AD-Day, for the brand new series.

Michael and the Bluths make their return via Netflix for 15 brand new episodes, all of which will be available to watch instantly at launch for members of the site across the globe. Set the alarm clock for 8:01am and tell the family they won't be seeing your for a while...

"Arrested Development is now widely viewed as one of the top TV comedies of all time and Mitch Hurwitz is bringing it to Netflix in a brand new way, crafted for the on-demand generation that has come to discover the show in the years since it last appeared on TV," said Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer for Netflix. "The highly anticipated return of this show is sure to make history all over again."

Series creator and executive producer Mitch isn't too sure about making history, but there is one thing he's looking forward to when it comes to Season 4: "Finally my simple wish for the show is coming true: that it be broadcast every second around the clock to every television, computer or mobile device in existence" he said.

Well Mitch, we won't complain about that one now. Sure it isn't every day you get the kind of comedy that picks up that many Emmys and that many fans in just three short seasons. Bring it on.
