Dave Grohl has "big plans" for next Foo Fighters album
Dave Grohl has insisted that the next Foo Fighters record will be worth waiting for. Speaking to MTV News, Grohl said that the band has "really awesome, big plans" for the next album, which will be the follow-upto 2011's Wasting Light.
"We have a plan, we know exactly what's coming next, and i have the music for the next record and we're going to start working on it once we finish doing all this stuff", said Grohl. The 'stuff' he's referring to is Sound City, his current film and music endeavour.
"We have really awesome, big plans for the next album and I'm really excited about it."
When quizzed on an eventual release date, Grohl was less willing to comply. "If I give you something now, it means I'll actually have to make that deadline", he said.
All this talk of a new record should finally eclipse rumours which broke last year that Foo Fighters were contemplating a split.
