Tulisa Contostavlos defends sex toy ownership
Tulisa Contostavlos believes owning sex toys makes her ''respectable''.
The 23-year-old singer - who is now dating actor Jack O'Connell - was recently left embarrassed in Miami Airport when a vibrating Rampant Rabbit went off in her luggage, but thinks having one proves she is not a ''slut'' because it means she is not going out to find men all the time.
She said: ''I own a Rampant Rabbit. Same as probably 50 per cent of the country. I'm human, and yes I own a Rabbit.
''I don't see anything wrong with that. At least you know that I know how to keep myself entertained, so I don't need any men to do it for me.
''It's hilarious the way people are like, 'Oh my god, she has a Rabbit! Oh my god, she's such a slut'. Well, not really, because if I have a Rabbit, it means that I'm using the Rabbit, rather than going out and seeing guys.
''So realistically it makes me, to a certain extent, more respectable!''
However, Tulisa admits the recent sex tape which was released featuring her and former boyfriend MC Ultra was a shock and led to her feeling very down but she is now ''stronger'' because of the experience.
Tulisa added to FHM magazine: ''This has been a dark time for me, just like many other dark times in my life, and it just makes me more and more the person that I am today.
''It's just one of those things that you learn from and you take on the chin, and then it makes you a stronger person.''
