Rapper and producer Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs was taken to hospital following a post-Grammy party he hosted at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion on Sunday (12.2.12).

According to TMZ.com, the 42-year-old was rushed to the University of California Los Angeles emergency room after his entourage became concerned about the star's health. Sources reveal that the 'I'll Be Missing You' singer had suffered ''a massive headache'' and was treated by staff before returning home. Insiders insist his condition was unrelated to the festivities.

On the Sunday of the party Combs tweeted: ''This is actually one of the HOTTEST parties I've ever thrown!! Right now at the Playboy Mansion!!!! Let's goooooooo!!!!''

Previously the music mogul had attended Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party in Beverly Hills on the Saturday night, which was held at the same hotel where Whitney Houston was found dead.

Shocked upon hearing the news of her death, P Diddy took to twitter, writing: ''Whitney Houston!!!! OMG!! I really can't believe this. This is one of the saddest days ever.''
