Hugh Hefner says he is 'sorry' to hear that The Playboy Club has been cancelled after just three episodes. NBC pulled the plug on the drama - which told the story of the famous Playboy Bunnies of the 1960s – but Hefner believes the show could have found a more appreciative audience on another channel. Writing on Twitter, the 85-year-old founder of the adult brand said: "I'm sorry NBC's The Playboy Club didn't find it's (sic) audience. It should have been on cable, aimed at a more adult audience. "Fans of The Playboy Club are really upset at the cancellation."
