Everyone is banging on about Chelsea Handler appearing 'completely nude' on the cover of Esquire (which isn't exactly news given she regularly posts topless pics of herself on social media), but we can't help but notice that Nick Offerman is also giving his bottom an airing.

To answer the glaring question, "WHY?", the entire April edition of the magazine is "devoted entirely to how men and women interact." Seemingly a picture of Chelsea Handler and 'Ron Swanson' aping a photo originally depicting John Lennon and Yoko Ono is the perfect way to embody that sentiment.

To quote someone leaving a comment under a similar article is Us Weekly, "I would sure hate seeing my husband naked on a magazine cover with another woman. But then again, Megan Mullaly is way cooler than I am." While a gentleman leaving a comment under the segment on Esquire.com said: "If you're going to have a naked dude on your cover...couldn't you find one with a hotter bum?"

Leave Ron alone, he's perfect the way he is. Speaking of being asked to do the shoot, Offerman said: "I love performing - and I'm not an exhibitionist, I'm not a Kardashian, by any stretch. And I'm not built in the way that people regularly ask me to bare myself... But when things call for it, I've done it on stage, I've done it on screen... I enjoy the beauty of nature."

The April issue of Esquire will be available at newsstands and online March 24th.
