Northeastern America may not have been as devastated by snow as they predicted, but some places still got hit with blizzards over the last few days. One of those places was Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and instead of locking themselves away from the outside until the storm passed, residents there decided to celebrate it in the best way. With a massive snowball fight.

According to local reports, someone started a Facebook thread on Monday about having a snowball fight in the city's Market Square, and by Tuesday lunchtime massive crowds gathered and commenced all out warfare. And after? They filled all the nearby pubs.

A city after our own hearts.
