Ishana Night Shyamalan, daughter of iconic director M. Night Shyamalan, chats to Radio Nova's Clint Drieberg about how Ireland was the perfect place to make her first feature film.
The director talks about how its otherworldliness made it a great location for 'The Watched' and how it's such an "artistic place to be". She also talks about how blown away she was by the A.M Shine book 'The Watchers' on which the movie is based.
Ishana tells Clint that her family, no surprise, was very much a horror movie house growing up and how she finds horror and telling scary stories a great way to connect with people.
'The Watched', written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and based on the novel by A.M. Shine, is in cinemas on June 7th.
