With his first time back in the shinguards in a long time, ‘Mario Strikers: Battle League’ manages to be fun for a while.
However, it quickly grows stale from a lack of offerings.
‘Mario Strikers: Battle League’ is at its best when you have a few friends over and want to have a laugh for an hour. But don’t expect it to have the same longevity as ‘Mario Kart’, which you’ll probably boot up instead before long.
However in a summer without a World Cup, the game should be enough to crave football fans' cravings.
