The cast of new musical drama 'In the Heights' chat to Brian Lloyd about the appeal of musicals - why people love them and why even those that don't, still love 'In the Heights'.
Joining Brian from the cast is Olga Merediz (Abuela Claudia), Jimmy Smits (Kevin Rosario), Gregory Diaz IV (Sonny), Melissa Barrera (Vanessa) and Leslie Grace (Nina Rosario) while he also talks to director Jon M. Chu.
'In the Heights' is set in New York's Washington Heights neighbourhood where bodega owner Usnavi (Anthony Ramos) weighs up returning to the Dominican Republic, Nina Rosario (Leslie Grace) returns home after her first year in Stanford as her father (Jimmy Smits) shoulders the financial burden of her tuition fees, while romance begins to flourish between Nina and Benny (Corey Hawkins).
