Record Store Day is on the horizon, and one of the world's biggest rock bands have announced that they will be this year's ambassadors.
Metallica have stepped up to the plate for the April 16th celebration of all things physical in music, and they will also release a live album on the same day.
The album is called Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité, Metallica! and features nine songs recorded at Le Bataclan in Paris, the same venue that 89 people lost their lives in last November. They will donate all proceeds from the album to Fondation de France's Give For France charity.
