A video has emerged of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins behind the kit at a high school Battle of the Bands competition.
The footage was shot in 1987 at Laguna Beach High School, and sees 9th grader Hawkins killing it on the kit during a rendition of Van Halen's 'Panama'.
Although originally uploaded in 2011, it's the second video depicting rock stars in their high school days to emerge in recent months, following an early line-up of Green Day playing at their own school several months ago.
