On Sunday night, at The Oscars, Dave Grohl performed Black Bird by himself. Since then, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive (especially the one about Grohl warring with Foo drummer Hawkins) with everyone assuming the band is splitting up after 22 years together because Grohl wants to pursue a solo career. With that in mind, the band posted this to twitter yesterday. 

Four hours ago, they posted their "announcement." This video, which is 7 minutes in length, it a stroke of genius. It sees Grohl indeed pursue that solo career - while the rest of the band meet up and discuss viable replacements - including Eddie Vedder, Phil Collins and Justin Bieber.
