Ed Sheeran's music videos  are, much like the man's music, an acquired taste that's probably akin to a plain cheese sandwich with no butter on white bread and the less we talk about the Galway Girl video, the better for everyone involved.

His latest offering sees a muppet version of Ed Sheeran reminisce about a lost love and features him violently stabbing another muppet who looks kind of like Elmo if he worked for a youth radio station. You'll also see Instagram filters, lots of wistful moments in a dive bar with whiskey, and Ed Sheeran crooning.

Really, if this is what you're going for, that movie he ends up making with Richard Curtis and Danny Boyle is going to be awful.
