Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan reacted angrily to a question put to him at a fan event earlier this month.

The footage of the singer and guitarist participating in a Q&A with fans in Colorado was filmed on July 13th, but has just made its way online now.

In it, Corgan is asked whether he thinks Kurt Cobain was murdered by his wife Courtney Love, whom Corgan was rumoured to date after Cobain's death in 1994. The theory forms the premise of a new Cobain documentary 'Soaked in Bleach', due out later this year.

He brusquely responded: "Are you legitimately asking me this question here? I'm not prepared to answer it. What does that have to do with me?"
