If you're a Stone Temple Pilots fan and want to... well, be a part of the band, the opportunity has arisen.
Their original singer Scott Weiland passed away last year at the age of 48 , although he had not been a part of the band in recent years. Instead, they had toured with Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington as their frontman.
However, now that Bennington has returned to Linkin Park, the band are looking for a new lead singer - and are hosting open auditions for interested parties.
They posted the invitation on their website over the weekend, revealing that applicants need to upload a video introduction, a cover of a Stone Temple Pilots song, a photo and a short bio.
"If you think you have what it takes to front this band, record with this band, and tour with this band, we would dig hearing from you," they wrote on the site. "No one will ever "replace" Scott, that was never the intent. The intent is for Stone Temple Pilots to continue on, to evolve, and to do what we do... make music! We look forward to seeing you."
Stranger things have happened in the past - in 2005, Canadian singer JD Fortune won a reality show to be the frontman of INXS, while Northern Irish singer Ciaran Gribbin/Joe Echo also spent time as the Australian band's frontman.
So, if you think you've got what it takes... the floor is yours.
