As expected, U2 have revealed details of an extensive tour around North America, Europe and the UK during their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour from May to October 2015.
The tour will see them play indoor venues for the first time in a decade in 19 different cities - but no Irish dates have been announced as yet. They won't forget about us… will they?
Considering that none of their dates are mammoth outdoor gigs, we reckon that Bono and the lads will do a run of gigs at the 3Arena at some point. They have the month of August off, too, leaving a window in their diary for a possible Slane gig… after all, there were two gigs at Slane in 2013 - Bon Jovi in June and Eminem in August.
The press release says that "In addition, special shows are being planned for Dublin for the end of next year – to benefit the U2-initiated Music Generation project - details of which will be announced as soon as they are finalised."
