Spice Girls fans out there will all remember that devastating day back in 1998 when Geri Halliwell announced she was leaving the group. Sure, they went on without her, but they were never the same and you know it.
To mark the 20th anniversary of this iconic nineties pop culture moment, BBC Archives have released a video of the news report from that day.
It features the statement made by Geri's management and various talking heads giving their thoughts on what it might mean for the future of planet Earth (or something along those lines).
However, stick around to the end when they interview some annoyed younger Spice Girls fans who do not mince their words, saying that Geri "is letting the whole country down".
The girl who says it is now in her mid-twenties so we can only HOPE that this clip is rolled out on every birthday for her.
