Adele's new album will not appear on any streaming site, according to reports.

'25' is out today and is set to break a multitude of sales records, but according to The New York Times, it will not be available on the likes of Spotify and Apple Music, who they say were only informed yesterday that it would not be available to stream.

The NY Times draws parallels with '25' and Beyoncé's self-titled album, which she withheld from streaming services for almost a year after it was released. (Of course, TIDAL wasn't owned by Jay Z back then.)

Indeed, the album is definitely not on Spotify this morning, meaning that if you want to hear it, you'll have to splash the cash.

Spotify released a statement saying: "We love and respect Adele, as do her 24 million fans on Spotify. We hope that she will give those fans the opportunity to enjoy ‘25’ on Spotify alongside ‘19’ and ‘21’ very soon."

In any case, you'll hear Entertainment.ie's verdict on '25' later today, so do check back.
