These days we're more accustomed to seeing Will Smith, the Hollywood superstar - but who misses Will Smith, the cheeky rapper?
If so, you're in luck - as the former Fresh Prince and hitmaker of songs like 'Boom Shake the Room', 'Summertime', 'Getting' Jiggy with It' and more has recorded thirty new tracks and plans to tour them.
Smith made the announcement on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on Apple Music, saying that he had already produced six or seven of that batch "that I really like" and was working with a variety of collaborators. It was reported in 2013 that he was working with Kanye West, although it's not known whether those songs are the same as the ones he has recently recorded.
"This is like the first real generation of hip-hop artists that are turning 40 and 50 and want to keep spitting," the 47-year-old said. "I guess 40 is the new 30 at least. 50 might be the new 30 right now."
Smith's last album was 2005's 'Lost and Found', although he recently collaborated with Colombian band Bomba Estereo on their track 'Fiesta?'. He has since starred in films like 'I Am Legend', 'Men in Black 3' and 'Seven Pounds' and will feature in the forthcoming 'Suicide Squad' film.
He also said that he is planning a world tour with longtime collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff: "I'm pretty certain i'm going on tour. Jeff and I actually never have done a full tour. I was always on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, I was always either making a movie, so we've never actually done a full tour. So I'm looking this summer to be the first time that we go out on a full world tour."
