If you thought Take That's tax woes were over, you'd be mistaken.
The boyband manband were roundly criticised for their involvement in a 'tax sheltering' scheme which was uncovered last year. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - but not ex-member Jason Orange, it should be noted - had effectively avoided paying a large sum of tax on their earnings by investing in an 'Icebreaker' scheme - but when it was discovered, they were ordered to pay back what they owe.
The trio made an arrangement to pay back the money last year, but reports suggest that the bill is still outstanding and they could owe up to a whopping £20 million (€28 million).
A spokesman for the band said "I can confirm that Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald have now received confirmation from HMRC that their tax affairs are fully up to date" - but it's not clear whether that statement means that they have paid the bill or have finalised an arrangement with the HMRC (the UK revenue & customs).
In any case, another decade of Take That, anyone?
The trio play Dublin's 3Arena next Friday and Saturday.
