Adam Lambert will return to his roots later this week, when he performs new track 'Welcome to the Show' on American Idol later this week.
Since finishing in runner-up position in the competition in 2009, Lambert has gone on to have a glittering solo career, as well as hooking up with Queen in 2011 as their new frontman - which led him to be described by Brian May as 'a gift from god'.
This season of American Idol is the final one, so he'll go back to pay his dues on Thursday - but you can hear a teaser of the song below:
