The third annual Kilkenny TradFest will take place next month in the Marble City from March 14th - 17th.
Sharon Shannon will headline the event, playing a very special gig in the Kilkenny Castle Yard with her band. She is joined on the programme by the likes of Mary Black, Donal Lunny & Paddy Glackin, Pauline Scanlon & Padraig Rynne’s Notify, Leonard Barry, Conor Byrne & Andy Morrow, Edel Fox, Seo Linn, Sweeney’s Men, Ronan O’Snodaigh, Lumiere, Aengus Hackett and Turkish vocalist Sanem Halfa.
Aside from the music, there are numerous other treats on offer. Lisa Hannigan and Dylan Haskins will bring their Soundings podcast to the festival for an event dubbed 'Holy Trinity', which will see them talk to three interesting people telling three different stories interspersed with live music.

Lumiere will host a special Mother's Day music and dining experience at restaurant Anocht, while the Bulmers Music Trail includes performances by John Spillane, At First Light, Away with the Fairies, The Steve Cooney Trio and Seo Linn.
