Yoko Ono has been hospitalised, but not for the reasons reported by several media outlets over the weekend.
The 83-year-old artist, musician and widow of the late John Lennon was admitted to a hospital in New York for 'flu-like symptoms' on Friday, amidst rumours that she had suffered a stroke.
However, her son Sean Lennon took to Twitter to confirm that it was not a stroke, and that she was already at home.
Hey guys it was only rumors from press: was NOT a stroke, just dehydration/tired. She is FINE. Thank you everyone for your concern @yokoono

Thanks again for everyone's concern. She's home and running about as usual. Just the flu in the end. I may go get a flu shot now...

Ono's last studio album was 2013's 'Take Me to the Land of Hell', although she released remix album 'Yes, I'm a Witch Too' in recent weeks.
